Ellen Tefanis, a talented guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Port Pirie, SA, began her musical journey with the guidance of her father and local mentors. Immersed in a vibrant music community, Ellen became a fixture in the Port Pirie and Adelaide cover band scenes during her teenage years.
In 2014, Ellen's talent was recognised by Reece Mastin, who invited her to perform 'Good Time' with him. That same year, she had the opportunity to meet and hang out backstage with Orianthi and Richie Sambora after their performance, further inspiring her musical path. Two years later, a viral Twitter video showcasing her guitar skills caught the attention of Keith Urban, leading to a performance at the finale of his Ripcord world tour. This exposure brought Ellen into the global spotlight, amassing millions of views and widespread recognition.

In 2018, Ellen travelled to Nashville and Los Angeles, performing at renowned venues, including Norman's Rare Guitars in California. Her impressive performances led to endorsements from Ernie Ball, Music Man, and Orange Amplifiers, and appearances at Winter NAMM and the She Rocks Awards, where she was featured on KTLA TV. When Ellen returned to Australia, she was invited by Global Citizen for a Skype session with Delta Goodrem, where she received praise for her musical talents. A week later, she participated in an exclusive Zoom session where Goodrem praised her guitar skills to the live audience watching at home.

Ellen's debut single, "More Than a Hat," was released in 2021, with a music video premiere on CMT, followed by her second single, "Don't Fall In Love," in 2023. Both singles received national radio play, solidifying her status as a rising star in the Australian music scene.

Since mid-2023, Ellen has been back in Adelaide, offering a range of musical experiences. Her solo acoustic set provides a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, perfect for chill or late-night settings. For a more dynamic experience, she offers a one-woman-band performance, using backing tracks to create the full sound of a band, giving audiences a lively experience without the need for a full band's space and cost. Ellen also performs as part of her acoustic duo, PUSH Duo, offering versatile cover services. Ellen's performances cover a wide range of genres and eras, focusing on the songs people love to hear and sing along to. In addition to her solo work, Ellen is actively involved in guitar session work for artists and has co-created the new band, Dirty Work – Ultimate Rock Band, which debuted at The Gov in July of 2024.

Looking ahead, Ellen is set to release her third single, "Get Over You," recorded in Nashville, scheduled for early 2025.
